GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern Women's Soccer team earned six College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Awards this week, receiving all six available nominations. The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. Lauren Powell, junior midfielder
Mia Reyna, senior forward
Meredith Lannan, senior forward
Samantha Hazen and senior midfielder
Jenny Pham.
To qualify for CSC Academic All-District an athlete must have these qualifications:
Academic standing:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically.
- Institutions may only nominate six athletes for CSC Academic All-District Awards in women's soccer.
Academic eligibility:
- An undergraduate student-athlete must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale).
- The cumulative grade point average may not be rounded up to 3.50.
Athletic eligibility
- M/W Soccer: Student-athletes must compete in 90 percent of the institution's games/contests played OR must start in at least 66 percent of the institution's games/contests.
