Pirate Volleyball Sweeps Concordia at Home

GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern Volleyball competed against the Concordia University Tornados on Friday Night. One of two conference match ups to start the weekend for the Pirates. Southwestern swept the Tornados 3-0 at the Robertson Center, but not before battling Concordia to a 27-25 win in the first set. The Pirates would go on to take the next sets 25-17 and 25-15.

"It took some work to find our offensive rhythm tonight, but once we started to connect, things began to click throughout the rest of the match. We thought Geneva was stellar defensively and the team in-general dug fifty-nine balls. Overall, we had really high-quality team support and that transferred in crunch time points," states Head Coach Don Flora.
