GEORGETOWN, Texas - Southwestern struck first in the first half and led 2-0 at halftime before responding to a Howard Payne goal to arrive at the 3-1 final Sunday afternoon. 

The weather was hot as were the Pirates as they controlled nearly every aspect of the match. 

Southwestern remains at home and returns to SCAC action on Friday evening, hosting Centenary College at 7pm.
