HOUSTON, Texas – The mighty Pirates continued their dominance as they cruised to a 3-0 win over the University of St. Thomas Wednesday.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Southwestern opened the match on fire and posted an impressive 25-12 win in set one.
• UST made a little run in the second set but SU held strong to win 25-18 in the second set.
• The Pirates were in a dog fight in the third set but were able to gut out a 26-24 win to close the match 3-0.

Southwestern improves to 12-1 on the season and return to SCAC action this weekend in San Antonio. The challenging weekend begins with Austin College and Centenary on Saturday before SU takes on #13 Colorado College and Dallas Sunday.
