Sophomore defender Berkeley Mengwasser has been named the SCAC Women's Soccer Co-Defensive Player-of-the-Week for the week of Monday, September 29 through Sunday, October 5.

Mengwasser, who played in back-to-back shutouts over the weekend against University of Dallas and Austin College, was crucial in pushing both teams out of the Pirates' half of the pitch. In over two hours of play, Mengwasser dismantled several drives penetrating her territory, limiting both teams to a combined six shots on goal in her time on the field.

Mengwasser shares the honor with Danika Wright of Trinity University.
