Nicholas Angeli

Angeli became the Assistant Swim and Dive Coach at Southwestern in June of 2025. Prior to joining the staff, Angeli served as the assistant coach at Division II, Quincy University for the 2024-25 season. Angeli helped the Quincy women's team improve by 119 points at the conference meet, while the men broke into the top 25 of the National Division II rankings. Angeli helped two student-athletes reach Division II Nationals as one earned All-American and the other Honorable Mention. 

Before Quincy, Angeli served as the graduate assistant at Division III member, Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. Angeli coached at Wittenberg from 2022 to 2024, also earning his master's degree in athletic administration. Angeli played a significant role in recruiting at Wittenberg garnering one of the largest incoming classes in the schools swimming history. 

Prior to coaching, Angeli was a dedicated four-year swimmer at Wittenberg. In addition to his time in the pool, he completed his bachelor's degree in communications in 2020. Angeli also earned experience spending three summers working at the Indiana University Swim Camp. 

Angeli's hometown is Helena, Montana.
