Devan Pilarski

Devan Pilarski was hired as the Assistant Men's Soccer Coach for the Southwestern University Pirates in July 2022 and enters his fourth year. Pilarski has helped the Pirates to three straight winning seasons following an impressive 11-3-4 campaign in 2024. 

In 2025, Pilarski and Norman were named SAA Co-Coaching Staff of the Year following a school record 15 wins, coming one match short of the NCAA Tournament at 15-2-3. The 2025 squad had five All-Region players, one All-American, and eight All-SAA selections which marked the most in school history. 

His first three season were also strong campaigns going 8-6-2 in 2022, 10-3-3 in 2023, and 11-3-4 in 2024. His four seasons at Southwestern have totaled a 44-14-12 record. 

 
Pilarski joins the Pirates after spending three years at Schreiner University. Pilarski served as the assistant coach for the men's soccer team from 2019 - 2020 and was named the Head Coach Men's Soccer Coach in 2021. Pilarski coached a Mountaineer team that recieved two Honorable Mention All-SCAC players and an All-SCAC Freshman Team Goalkeeper. 
 
Prior to his time at Schreiner University, Pilarski spent three years in Colorado and was the Head Coach for both the Men's and Women's Soccer Programs at University of Colorado at Denver. Pilarski led both programs to an overall record of .500.
 
Pilarski graduated from Southern Connecticut State University in 2015 with a B.A. in Sport Management.
