Colton Taylor joined Southwestern as the Assistant Director of Development for Athletics in March of 2025. He is responsible for the management of athletic donors and fundraising for a number of Pirate Athletics initiatives. He also manages relationships and agreements with local businesses through the Corporate Partnership Program for Pirate Athletics.
Taylor graduated from Texas A&M University - Kingsville (TAMUK) with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. During his studies there, Taylor was also a key player for the baseball team and acted as a Development Intern for the TAMUK Foundation and the athletic department.
Taylor was born and raised in Amherstburg, Ontario before moving to Texas in 2018 as an international student to pursue a collegiate baseball career.
Taylor and his wife, Zalayna, now live in Austin, Texas.
