Brian is the brother of Head Coach Bill Kriesel who enters his first season with the Pirates as the Field Manager. Kriesel brings in a wealth of knowledge, coaching High School Offensive and Defensive Line for six years in Randolph, Minnesota. 

Brian Kriesel was named Coach of the Year at the High School two straight seasons, which was voted on by the players. Kriesel has two sons Ruben and Hunter.
