Biography

2012 (First-year) 

Arellano played in 24 matches in her first season at Southwestern. She added 66 digs for a 1.43 digs per set ratio on the defensive side of the floor. Arellano added two kills and four assists as well.

High School

Arellano is a four-time letterwinner in volleyball for the Cougars. She was a Second Team All-District selection as a sophomore, First Team All-District pick in 2010 and 2011 where she was team captain both seasons. As a junior she was selected to the All-Area Team and earned a spot on the Academic All-District Team as a senior. 

Personal

Marcella is the daughter of Gus and Denise Arellano and has two siblings, Andre and Cristian. She is majoring in kinesiology at Southwestern.
