High School

Carina is a 2011 graduate of WE Boswell HS. Well there, sheexcelled in the classroom while playing lacrosse and tennis. From2007 through 2011, she was a member of the All-Region Band -Euphonium. In 2009 she won 1st place at the HOSA Area V - ForensicScience competition and went to the State HOSA Forensic Sciencecompetition. In 2011 she was also a National Hispanic Scholar at WEBoswell.

Personal

Carina is the daughter of Florentino and Alma Ruvalcaba, and shehas two siblings, Giovanni and Victor. She is a biology major hereat Southwestern. Her goal is to work in the field of forensics.
