Entering his first season of coaching with the Pirates, originally from  Austin, Texas. Fournier was a '25 graduate of Southwestern, along with the football teams kicker and punter.

In 2025, Fournier helped the Pirates program gain the first AP All-American in program history as Chase Lanham was the nation's best punter with 47.7 yards per punt. The mark was nearly three yards further than the second ranked punter in the nation. Lanham also booted a 73 yard punt, which was the longest in program history. 

Fournier finished his kicking career with stats including PAT percentage (95.3), total field goals (21), field goal percentage (63.3), and punt attempts (99).
