Mattie is a 2013 graduate of Marble Falls HS. While there, she was Academic All- District and Academic All-State each year of her high school career. She was a member of the Team Tennis Regional Qualifier and on the All-District Doubles Team in 2013.

Mattie is the daughter of Allen and Patti Cryer, with one sister Tess. She is currently undecided with her major at Southwestern University.
