2013-14
Sheffer appeared in 24 games for the Pirates, averaging 6.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. She posted a season-high 15 points against Colorado College on January 31st and grabbed seven rebounds twice, on back to back nights in Las Vegas. Sheffer shot 39 percent from the floor and 33 percent from three point range, adding in 26 assists and 16 steals.

Scheffer played in 19 games in her second season with the Pirates, averaging 9.6 minutes per game. She scored 3.1 points and grabbed 1.7 rebounds per game while shooting 36.4 percent from the floor.
2011-12 (First-year)
Sheffer appeared in all 27 games for the Pirates, starting two contests. She averaged 7.1 minutes and 1.8 points per contest. Sheffer's best game was in the Southwestern win versus Dallas on December 17, in 19 minutes she had 7 points, 6 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists.
High School
Cara earned varsity letters in field hockey, basketball, volleyball, and track while competing for the Owls. Cara was a two time All-Conference selection in basketball and track and was named the MVP for basketball during her junior and senior years. She was also named the MIP for offense in field hockey her senior year.
Personal
Cara is the daughter of Rick and Lori and has two siblings, Matthew and Marissa. Cara is currently undecided as to her major at SU.
