2012 (Junior)

Fuentes raced in three meets for the Pirates in 2012 and earned a top 30 finish at the SCAC Championships with a time of 29:54.6. He posted his best time of the year at the NCAA III Region Championships besting his conference mark covering the 8k course in 29:16.3. 

2011 (Sophomore)

Fuentes finished 13th overall with a time of 28:23.43 at the DIII Cross Country Championships in September. He placed 39th overall at the SCAC Championships with a time of 28:21.60. Stephen was also named a member of the SCAC All-Sportsmanship team. Fuentes made the SCAC Academic Honor Roll.

2010 (First-year)

Fuentes came in 108th place with a time of 28:19 at the South/Southeast Regional and finished in 42nd at the SCAC Championships with a personal best time of 27:25.6.

High School

A 2004 graduate of Harker Heights High School, Stephen earned varsity letters in both cross country and track for the Knights. 

Personal

Stephen is the son of Robert and Irene and has four siblings, Yvonne, Robert, Anthony, and Daniel.  Stephen is a kinesiology major at SU.
