GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University women's basketball competed Friday night inside the Robertson Center but came up short in a Southern Athletic Association matchup, falling 51–43 to Berry College.
Berry held a 13–9 edge after the opening quarter, but the Pirates responded in the second period, outscoring the Vikings 13–8 to take a 22–21 lead into halftime. Berry regained control coming out of the break, using a 17–11 third quarter to swing momentum, and closed out the contest by a 13–10 margin in the fourth to secure the conference road victory.

Junior Trinity Benitez led the Pirates with a team-high 16 points in 37 minutes of action, shooting 5-of-8 from the field and 6-of-8 at the free-throw line. Benitez also pulled down seven rebounds and added three steals.

Adrianna McCoy followed with 13 points, knocking down 6-of-15 shots while grabbing six rebounds and recording an assist and a steal in 32 minutes.

Emma Flores contributed six points on a pair of three-pointers and added two rebounds and three steals.

Kylee Symons played all 40 minutes, finishing with three points, three rebounds, one assist, one block, and two steals.
