GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Sophomore libero Izzy Rodriguez has clinched her second SAA Defensive Player of the Week honors in three weeks. Rodriguez was named All-Tournament Team as she led Southwestern to a 3-0 record at the St. Thomas Invitational over the weekend. She finished with a combined 69 digs over three matches (5.79 digs/set). She also recorded a season high of 33 digs (6.6 per set) against undefeated tournament hosts University of St. Thomas in a five set thriller on Saturday to end the tournament, while collecting 30 digs in a 3-1 win versus Austin College on Saturday morning. Rodriguez's stat line also included 15 assists and 3 service aces.
