GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University Women's tennis team hosted the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Wednesday, April 2nd and Trinity University on Sunday, April 6th in Georgetown, Texas. The Pirates defeated UMHB Crusaders with scores of 5-2 in a non-conference match. The Trinity University Tigers came in hot forcing a battle between them and the Pirates, the Pirates dropped the match 0-7 making that their first conference loss of the season.Â

Helaina Reynoso and Daryl Locke came through with a huge doubles/singles sweep for the Pirates. Reynoso won her singles match 6-3, 6-1, while Locke won her match 6-1, 6-4.

Lydia Lee forced her match to go into three sets, falling in favor of the Crusaders
