GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University Softball team traveled down to Seguin, Texas to face the nationally ranked Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs. The Pirates knew it would be a fight from start to finish and that's exactly what the series was. The Bulldogs controlled game one keeping the Pirates scoreless for seven innings, securing the win 3-0. Game two consisted of the Pirates tallying three hits throughout the contest to put one run across home plate but it wasn't enough to beat the Bulldogs, the Pirates went down 1-6. Bulldog bats were hot throughout game three proving to be a problem for the Pirates, the final for game three was 1-9 in favor of Texas Lutheran.Ā
