GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern Baseball team took on the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Georgetown, Texas on Wednesday February 26th. The Pirates offense was able to manufacture eight runs against the Crusaders however UMHB held strong, scoring twelve runs of their own. Southwestern drops the single non-conference game to Crusaders 8-12.  

GAME HIGHLIGHTS 

• Second baseman Tres Organ had three plate appearances where he collected one hit, two walks, and scored all three times for the Pirates

• Pirates Tanner Teffs, Logan Wilson, Jordan Coronado, and Liam Stonestreet led the Pirates with two hits each during their three plate appearances, T. Teffs had five plate appearances with two RBIs

• Three different Pirates added a stolen base to their stat line

GAME NOTES

• Pitcher Kade Townsend picked up his first loss of the season

• Pirates had a total of nine hits and two errors for the contest
