GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University Women's tennis team was on the road to face #26 Grinnell College and #18 Sewanee for their first out of conference matches. While the Pirates battled in both matches, they fell short to the Pioneers who won 4-2 and to the Tigers who won 7-0.

MATCH 1 HIGHLIGHTS

• Erika Synoski came through with a big single/doubles sweep for the Pirates, winning her singles match 6-4, 6-1

• Valeria Gracia and Helaina Reynoso won their doubles match 7-6

MATCH 2 HIGHLIGHTS

• Synoski gave it a good fight forcing a third-set tiebreaker after winning the first set 7-5

• The Pirates will stay on the road as they travel to Kerrville, Texas to take on the Schreiner Mountaineers on Friday, February 28th.
