GEORGETOWN, TEXAS -Â Southwestern Volleyball dropped a competitive three-set match to Schreiner University on Tuesday night, falling 25-24, 25-23, 25-22 in a contest that featured narrow margins throughout. Despite strong individual performances, the Pirates were edged out in key moments as the Mountaineers capitalized on a 10-2 blocking advantage to secure the sweep.

Senior Emily Marks led the Pirates offensively, recording 14 kills while hitting an efficient .333 on the night

Lily McWhorter was also a bright spot at the net, adding eight kills on zero errors and posting a solo block.
