GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - The Southwestern University Men's Basketball team took their first win of the season at home against the Texas Lutheran University Bulldogs on Saturday night. The Pirates controlled as much as a fourteen point lead in the first half and were up by twelve, 33-21, going into halftime. Southwestern put up another thirty-three points in the second half leading to a 66-52 victory over the Bulldogs. 

HIGHLIGHTS

• Junior guard Shobby Enakpene racked up a career-high fourteen points and on the defensive end, he collected five steals with only one foul on the night.
• Luke Mills secured twelve points for the Pirates while also grabbing five rebounds (three offensive).
• Gio Gutierrez was second on the team in scoring alongside Mills with twelve points. Gutierrez collected four rebounds and distributed three scores to his teammates. 

NOTES

• The Pirates led the Bulldogs for nearly the entire game, taking the lead at 17:19 in the first half and never looking back. 
• Southwestern out-shot the Bulldogs by 11% from the field (50% - 39%) while also shooting 80% from the free throw line. 
• Forty-four of the Pirates points came inside the paint.
