GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University men's basketball team played against receiving votes (RV) University of St. Thomas on Saturday, January 11th in Georgetown, Texas. The physical matchup between the Pirates and the Celts ultimately ended in a Pirate loss, 43-64. Within conference play the Pirates are now 1-3.

• Junior Luke Hatcher led the Pirates with fourteen points on the night.

• Freshman guard Aedan Lewis collected a career and team high of six rebounds

• Pirates Jared Robins and Patrick Hoffman each had eight points, Robins also grabbed four rebounds

• The rebound margin was in favor of the Celts who had twenty-seven total compared to the Pirates nineteen 

• The Pirates went 18-43 for the field, 5/19 from three, and were 66% from the free throw line
