GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Volleyball capped off their season with a three game win streak over opponents, University of Dallas, Centenary College and McMurry University. Friday, the Pirates won back to back contests against the Crusaders and Ladies, taking each game by a 3-0 margin. To finish out the regular season on Saturday, Southwestern overcame the War Hawks in a five set contest, bringing their final home record to 11-1 with an overall record of 21-5.
HIGHLIGHTS GAME ONE
- Â Carly Berkman hit .296 with nine kills and only one error against Dallas.
- Lily McWhorter led the Pirates in hitting percentage on the day (.308) with six kills and two block assists.
- Claire Bauer recorded six kills off twenty one attempts and one block assist.
HIGHLIGHTS GAME TWO
- Madison Ingram hit a season high fourteen kills against the Ladies while scoring three block assists.
- Carly Berkman hit .450 on the match, tallying ten kills with just one error.
- Lauren McIntyre served up four aces versus the Ladies as well as digging eleven balls.Â
HIGHLIGHTS GAME THREEÂ
- Emily Marks put up a game high sixteen kills adding three block assists for 17.5 points.
- Claire Romo and Annika Flora each tied the match high for assists with twenty five a piece and twenty six digs between the two.Â
- Christina Kuras capped off the regular season hitting .346 with fourteen kills and four block assists (16 points).

- Southwestern Volleyball will await seeding for the SCAC Conference Tournament which will take place on November 15th and 16th in Sherman, Texas; hosted by Austin College.Â
