GEORGETOWN, TEXAS - Southwestern University Women's Soccer played against University of St. Thomas on Sunday, October 20th. The Pirates came out on top against the Celts 4-0, defending their home turf to remain undefeated at home this season. This win advances the Pirates to 5-1 in conference play.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

• Four Pirates found the back of the net in this match, those being Meredith Lannan (3rd minute), Lindsey Gomez (37th minute), Mia Morales (57th minute), and Jackie Powell (86th minute)

• Two assists were provided for two goals, those being from Lauren Powell (3rd minute) and Kayla Moody (37th minute)

• Mia Morales scored her first goal of the season!

GAME NOTES

• Pirates defense played a key role in this game by not allowing the Celts to get a single shot on goal!
