GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- The Pirates Women's Basketball team(1-8) started their conference play by hosting the Trinity Tigers(4-1) Friday evening at 7:30 PM in the Corbin Roberston Center. The Tigers defeated the Pirates 88-59

HIGHLIGHTS:

• Lauren Stevens finished with 8 points, 5 rebounds

• Ellie Ward had 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists

• Aniyah Burke had 11 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists

NOTES:

• The Pirates finished with 35 rebounds

• The Tigers scored 40 points off of turnovers
