GEORGETOWN, TEXAS- The Pirates traveled for their third conference game to play the Celts of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas at Sabercat Stadium. 

The Celt came into the match with one loss, while the Pirates were 1-1, coming off a big 7-0 victory over Schreiner University. St. Thomas played very physical and made it very challenging for the Pirates to get a shot off. With only three total shots for the game, and zero in the first half, Mofe Arriyo's late-game heroics helped lift the Pirates past the Celts, 1-0. The Celts outshot the Pirates 17 to 3, but Brendan Prather was unfazed and gets the shutout, which was a big task considering they are averaging over 3-goals per game. 

The Pirates stay on the road and will play Centenary(La.) on Sunday, October 8th at 2:00 PM.
