Georgetown, Texas – A hard-fought battle between the Southwestern Pirates and the Centenary Gents seemed headed for a tie when the Bucs pulled out a late goal to win the game.

Sophomore Sacco Fernandez scored on an assist by Jake Swonke with two minutes left in the game on Friday evening.  It was his first goal of the 2018 season. The Pirates played aggressively the whole game with Kip Karschnik taking three shots on goal and Dejan Savic taking four shots.

The Bucs are undefeated in SCAC conference play so far this season. The next game is at home on Friday, Sept. 28, against Texas Lutheran.
