SHERMAN, Texas - Five Southwestern players scored double digits as the Pirates posted a 94-84 win over Austin College on Sunday afternoon.

SU used a steady stream of offense in the first half and followed it by maintaining a safe distance from the 'Roos to secure the win.

Southwestern shot 43.9% from the field and 31.8% from three point range and was led by Ryan Ogden's 23 points while Chris Molina added 21. Zach Whitlcok and Luke Hicks added 15 points each as Ben Stiver chipped in 11.

The Pirates (9-9, 4-3) begin the second round action this weekend, hosting Centenary College on Friday at 7:30 pm .
