SHERMAN, Texas - A staggering shot differential in Southwestern's favor would seeme to convert to a win but the Pirates fell 2-1 to Austin College on Sunday despite the lopsided statistics. 

AC led 2-0 three minutes into the second half and Martin Vila brought the Pirates within one goal with a little over 20 minutes to play. Unfortunately, Southwestern was unable to find the back of the net again before the final whistle to suffer the loss. 

The Pirates (7-6, 6-3) return home for a four-game SCAC homestand beginning with Dallas on Friday at 5 pm.
