SEGUIN, Texas – Martin Vila scored the equalizing goal in the 56th minute, but Texas Lutheran found the back of the net 14 minutes later to hand Southwestern a 2-1 setback on Friday evening.

The Bulldogs took a 1-0 advantage in the 15th minutes, as Cameron Towns headed in the opening score.

Vila's goal came on assist by Jake Swonke, which tied the match.

The Pirates (8-10, 7-7 SCAC) will return home to host UC Santa Cruz in a non-conference tilt at 12 p.m. Sunday.
