Pirates fall in semifinal

Southwestern struggled to get their offense going as Colorado College handed SU a 5-0 loss in the SCAC Championship semifinals on Saturday.

The Tigers poured on four goals in the first half and had 22 shots in the game while Southwestern only got off three.

Starting keeper Travis Carmichael had four saves in the loss while Sam Eichner came in off the bench in the second half and recorded no saves. Andres Carreño-Mendez has two shots to lead Southwestern, both on frame.

The loss ends the Pirates' season with an 8-12-1 overall record.
