Box Score 2 SAN ANTONIO, Texas - The Southwestern volleyball team hit a snag
on Saturday afternoon as they uncharacteristically dropped two
matches to preseason-ranked opponents. With the losses SU falls to
7-3 overall.

preseason poll. Game one was tight and well-played on both sides
but UPS pulled ahead winning 26-24. SU dropped the second game as
well, 25-19 but rallied to outlast Puget Sound 29-27 in game three.

was edged out 25-23 to lose 3-1.
Lindsay Thompson led Southwestern with 17 kills while Puget
Sound's Natalie Monro was on fire, logging 28 kills.
