SHERMAN, Texas – The Pirate men's soccer team
rebounded from their conference opener loss to take down Austin
College 2-1 on Sunday in their second Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference match of the year. The Pirates improve to 4-3 on the

off when Kendall found Temple who headed it home to make it a 1-1
game in the 57th minute of action.
Southwestern recaptured the momentum and the lead in the 73rd
minute when Patrick Flanigan fed Josh Spencer for the go ahead goal
to put the Pirates up 2-1.
