Messier was a member of the Southwestern cross country team.

2011 (First-year)

Messier ran a time of 27:19 at the SCAC Championships, placing 73rd. At the Texas DIII XC Championships, she ran a time of 26:22.

High School

Kate competed for the Bobcats during her time at Bosque High School, competing in soccer, cross country and swimming and graduated with honors.

Personal

Kate is the daughter of Stan and Cathy and has two sisters, Amber and Heather. Kate is majoring in education at SU.
