The Southwestern Pirates used personal records from Lilly Duarte, Meg Greenfield, and Maria Gonzalezto place 10th in a meet littered with teams from DI, DII, DIII, and the NAIA. Lilly Duarte, perennial top finisher, placed 16th overall and first among DIII runners with a time of 19:17.39, a personal record. Kara Koinis finished in 20:57.03, good enough for 48th overall. Christina Hadly finished 62nd overall with a time of 21:54.84. Kyrsten Budde finished in 65th with a time of 22:09.42. Meg Greenfield ran a personal record of 22:36.64 and finished in 72nd overall. Priscila Hernandez ran a 22:55.84 and placed 75th. Allie Beito placed 78th with a time of 23:13.08. Maria Gonzalez also ran a personal best of 24:04.11.
The Pirates will run next at the SCAC Championships October 29 in Sewanee, TN.
