Women's tennis moves into national rankings on Thursday

TEMPE, Ariz. - The Southwestern women's tennis team entered the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's Top-40 poll for the first time this season, as the Pirates moved up to No. 39.

Southwestern dropped its first match of the spring campaign, but has rebounded to win nine straight. The Bucs have shut out six opponents this spring, including four of its last five.

The Pirates (9-1) will return to action on Tuesday, March 21, against Wisconsin-Eau Claire. First serve is scheduled for 4 p.m. at the Marvin D. Henderson Sr. Tennis Courts in Georgetown.
