LEWIS NAMED SCAC SWIMMER OF THE WEEK

SEWANEE, Ga. - Elizabeth Lewis, a first-year from Garden Ridge, Texas, as named the SCAC Swimmer-of-the-Week after setting two school records at the University of Incarnate Word Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Lewis finished in 5:19.36 in the 500 free which earned her fourth place in the race and was her first broken school record of the day by shaving nearly six seconds off her previous best time. She followed that up with a stellar performance in the 400 IM, setting a new school record of 4:42.50 by shaving almost ten seconds off her previous time.

The Pirates return to the water with a home dual meet against McMurry University on Saturday at 1:00 pm.
