Destin, Fla. - Senior Kelsey Coburn finished her collegiate career with a bang, tying for seventh place at the DIII NCAA Championships. The Southwestern women's team also finished in seventh at the event.

Ruyle Snags Fourth SCAC Women's Coach-of-the-Year Honor
Dan Ruyle of Southwestern University guided his squad to a conference title and was rewarded with his fourth SCAC women's Coach-of-the-Year honor and first since winning the award three consecutive years from 2007 to 2009.

SCAC Announces 2013 Spring All-Sportsmanship Teams
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. - The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) today announced its fifth annual spring All-Sportsmanship teams. Women's Golf Earns Seventh Berth to NCAA Championship
INDIANAPOLIS---The NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Committee announced 21 teams and six individuals that will participate in the 2013 NCAA Division III Women’s Golf Championships and Southwestern University earned their seventh selection to the national championship.

Women’s Golf Captures Sixth SCAC Title
With a 659 team score the Southwestern Pirates women’s golf team captured the 2013 SCAC Championship on Sunday afternoon in Shreveport, La. It is the sixth time Southwestern has grabbed the title.

One Stroke Lands Pirates in Second at UT Tyler
TYLER, Texas - Southwestern women's golf shot the lowest round of the tournament on Tuesday, 316, to finish in second place at the Al Jones Memorial. SU ended with 644 strokes while UT Tyler took first with 643.

Coburn Opens Fall Season with Tournament Victory
SEGUIN, Texas - Kelsey Coburn began her senior season in style, winning the Lady Bulldog Fall Classic on Tuesday afternoon with 149 strokes (76-73). The Pirate women in came in 4th place overall with 630 strokes.

Changes Abound in Southwestern Athletic Department
GEORGETOWN, Texas - The Southwestern University Athletic Department continues to evolve as the 2012-13 school year approaches. Not only are facilities being renovated and built and new athletic logos on the horizon, but staff members are taking on new roles with Ronda Seagraves’ Athletic Director appointment at Centenary College.
