Seagraves closed out her career at Southwestern on a high note as the leading scorer, averaging 13.9 points per game. She was also tops in free throw percentage (80.2) and third on the team in rebounds (5.9) and assists (2.0). Seagraves was named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team for her exceptional play at the SCAC Conference Tournament and is the first player to receive this honor at Southwestern. She was also an All-SCAC Second Team selection and was named as SCAC Player-of-the-Week for the week of November 15-22.
2009-2010 (First Season)
In her first season with the Pirates, Seagraves started all 26 games, averaging 32.8 minutes per contest...ranked 7th in the SCAC in scoring average (15.5 points/game) and blocks (35)...recorded 58 assists, 146 rebounds, and 40 steals on the season...named SCAC Basketball Player-of-the-Week for games played Monday, January 11 through Sunday, January 17 when she averaged 29 points and 7 rebounds per game...scored a SU record 32 points versus Sewanee on 01/15/2010...broke a school record with 13 field goals made in a game versus Sewanee on 01/15/2010...attempted a Southwestern record 374 field goals on the season...named to the SCAC Spring 2010 Student-Athlete Academic Honor Roll...inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National College Athlete Honor Society...named All-SCAC Second Team.
A 2007 graduate of Georgetown High School, Shae was a two time All-District selection, a All-State selection in 2007, and a two time All-Centex selection. She was the number 69 ranked senior in the state of Texas. From high school, Shae attended the University of Memphis for two years. While at the University of Memphis, Shae was a two time member of the Conference USA Academic Honor Roll as well as a member of the Tiger 3.0 club in 2007 and 2008 and the Tiger Academic 30 for the top 30 student-athletes at the University of Memphis.
Shae is the daughter of Robert and Ronda and has one brother, Jason. Shae is majoring in Kinesiology and English.
