Poole Named as SCAC Men's Field Athlete-of-the-Week

DANIEL POOLE OF SOUTHWESTERN UNIVERSITY, a first-year from Shreveport, La., has been selected the SCAC Men's Field Athlete-of-the-Week for meets conducted from Monday, March 7 through Sunday, March 13.

Poole set a school record in his first ever javelin competition after throwing and setting a Southwestern record of 41.07 meters.

The Pirates return to action on March 25th and 26th at the Victor Lopex Classic in Houston, TX as the Wendel D. Ley Track Stadium on the campus of Rice University.
