BEBEL AND LAM NAMED TO 2010 ALL-SCAC MEN'S TENNIS TEAM

SUWANEE, Ga. - Junior D'Artagnan Bebel (pictured left) and sophomore Alex Lam (pictured right) were Honorable Mention selections for the 2010 Men's All-SCAC Tennis Team. Members of the team are selected by the conference head coaches.

Bebel, from The Woodlands, Texas, was 8-5 on the year in singles matches, playing the majority of the time in the #4 spot. He went on a tear once conference action began, losing all but two matches and winning three straight at the SCAC Championships. For this success at the tournament, Bebel was named to the All-Tournament team in singles and doubles action, the only Pirate to accomplish such a feat this season.

Lam, from Sugarland, Texas, was tasked with the top players in the conference and at all matches as he played in the first flight for the entire season. His 5-8 singles match record for this season doesn't adequately reflect his ability as he took some of the top players in the nation to three sets, often just narrowly falling in the end.

The Pirates ended the season in 10th place at the SCAC Championships.
