In Saturday's match-up with UT-Tyler the Pirates were close in most of their matches but were unable to pull off a win. Sunday the tough competition continued for the Pirates as they faced #10 LeTourneau. Lam and Prince were once again in the fold for the win but eventually fell to Robbins/Cantu 9-7. Reinsch/Bebel were bested in their doubles match-up with Haney/Sinard 8-1 and Clarage/Olsson fell to de la Fuente/Guerra 8-0.

As singles matches got underway LeTourneau continued to press as Southwestern was only able to win six games of the first three singles matches with the final three being unfinshed due to weather.

The Pirates remain on the road for a pair of dual meets at the end of the week. They face Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, TX on Thursday and then travel to Abilene, TX on Friday to take on McMurry University.
