GEORGETOWN – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference has announced the fall championship brackets for volleyball (hosted by Trinity University), women's soccer (hosted by Texas Lutheran) and men's soccer hosted on the campus of Southwestern University.
The Pirates enter both the men's and women's soccer tournaments as the No. 2 seed and earned a first round bye. The Southwestern volleyball team enters the postseason tournament with the No. 3 seed.

Southwestern dropped to the No. 2 seed after falling in the regular season finale to Trinity on Friday night in both the men's and women's tournaments. Trinity – which captured the top seed – received a first round bye with the Pirates and will play Saturday.
The Pirate volleyball team is in search of its first conference title since 2009 and opens tournament play Friday against the No. 6 seed Schreiner. Trinity was tabbed the No. 1 seed while Colorado College enters as the No. 2 seed.
