SUWANEE, Ga. - In exclusive voting by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference head coaches, Southwestern men's soccer seniors Alex Keller (pictured, top right) and Fernando Leon (pictured, top left) were named as All-SCAC First Team members and sophomore Evan Perkins (pictured, bottom left) and junior Nick Pierce (pictured, bottom right) were named to the All-SCAC Third Team.

Keller led the Pirates in goals, assists and points in his senior season, starting in 18 of the 19 contests he competed in. He scored nine goals, two game winners, and assisted nine times for 27 points. His nine assists was second most in the conference and 27 points put him as the fifth highest point getter in the SCAC. With eight goals scored in conference play, Keller tied for the lead in goals scored in the SCAC during conference action and is the outright leader in assists with seven during conference matches.

Leon headed up the Pirate defense that held conference opponents to nine goals on the season, third best in the SCAC. He had one goal for two points on seven shots, four being on target for a .571 shots on goal percentage.

Perkins was a sparkplug up top for the Pirate attack as he was second on the team in goals and assists, scoring eight times and assisting on six goals. His 22 points was also second on the team and two of his goals were game winners. Perkins is 12th in the conference in goals scored, tied for fifth in conference goals scored with six, and fifth in assists.

Pierce touted a .767 save percentage during the season, third best in the SCAC. His 17 goals allowed is fourth best in the conference and 1.14 goals against average landed him in fifth in the SCAC.

Southwestern as a team posted their best conference record ever, 9-2, which included a 6-0 start which was the best in Pirate soccer history. They finished in second place in the conference for the 2010 season.
