SUWANEE, Ga. – First Team All-SCAC selections senior forwards Josh Spencer (pictured, right) and David Lozano (pictured, left) led the way for Southwestern as the Pirates land five on the conference’s All-SCAC team.

Spencer, a dominating threat on corner kicks, led the Pirates for the 2009 season in goals, scoring 12 times this year and recording two assists. He had three game winning goals on the season, starting 17 of the 18 contests he played in.

Lozano was a speedy forward that maintained constant pressure on opposing team’s defense, oftentimes doing the hard work and setting up teammates. He was third on the team in assists with three and scored one goal this season.

Teammate and fellow senior Nathan Shaw-Meadow was a Second Team All-SCAC selection for 2009. He started 16 of the 17 matches he played in, scoring three goals out of the midfield including one in his final game as a Pirate.
