COX HONORED AS ARTHUR ASHE, JR SPORTS SCHOLAR
Anthony Cox, a 2010 graduate of Southwestern University, was named as one of twelve men's basketball players nationally, throughout all divisions, as an Arthur Ashe Jr. Sports Scholar by Diverse Issues in Higher Education Magazine. Cox is the lone SCAC representative on the list.
Diverse Issues in Higher Education "established the Sports Scholars Awards to honor undergraduate student of color who have made achieving both academically and athletically a winning combination."
